transmitting tetrode GKE-100 - (NOS)

GKE-100 (ГКЭ-100) is an old, quite big and interesting transmitting tetrode, which was first time mentioned back in the middle of the 30's in context with development of the soviet mobile radio station RSB (РСБ) - called DVINA. Hundred in the end means 100W RF power output. It has directly heated cathode and beautiful molybdenum grid and also requires a specific tube socket. Back in  the 1942 when most of the machinery and equipment was moved from a small scientific town of Fryazino (near the Moscow) to Uzbekistan, these grids were woven using an old-fashioned wooden loom. GKE-100 is nowadays not so common as it was years ago, but still available in smaller quantities and could be interesting for DIY projects. All of the available tubes are new old stock, directly from the old surplus. Years of production: 1962-63 (please look at the gallery pictures).
